Foremost, Oquah Otop and Akarawak Nduonyikoyo Ibok in their case study titled ‘Assess the Level of Compliance with Development Control Measures in Calabar, Nigeria’ assessed the level of compliance with development control measures in Calabar, Nigeria with the hypothesis being formulated and tested using an analysis of chi-square.

Flash sales help online portals to push sales and profits temporarily by creating a false sense of scarcity of the products. Tapish Panwar and Kalim Khan’s ‘Flash Sales and the Idea of Scarcity: A Double-edged Sword’ aims at converging the concept of scarcity with flash sales and discuss the possible negative outcome responses by customers when they are unable to get better off a flash sale. Additionally, the potential for electricity generation from cow paunch was investigated using microbial fuel cell in ‘Electricity Generation Potential of Cow Paunch from Abattoirs in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria’ by Deke Victoria Adegunloye and Ebunoluwa Omopariola.

Ayodeji Adedapo Oyinlola and Felix Akinsola Akinyosoye in their study titled ‘Isolation, Screening and Optimization of Xylanase Producing Fungi from Rhizosphere Soil of Cassava Tuber’ explore the isolation, screening, and optimization of xlanase-producing fungi from rhizosphere soil of cassava tuber under submerged fermentation.

The next study titled ‘To Determinate the Degree or Severity of Renal Impairment According to HIE Stages in PNA Patients,’ conducted by Tarun Kumar Roy, Rabeya Sultana, Mosammad Alpana Jahan, Md. Homayun Shikdar, Suchana Sen, Suvendu Ray, and M. A. Mannan, determines the degree or severity of renal impairment according to HIE stages in PNA Patients. This cross-sectional study was carried out in the department of neonatology, Chattagram Ma-O-Shishu hospital from January 2016 to June 2016.

Subhash Mishra, Sanjeev Varshney, Anil P. Singh, Pradeep Barnwal, Neeraj Kumar and Rachit Katiyar’s ‘Parametric Analysis of Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger’ investigated the effect of mass flow rate, hot and cold fluid temperature on total heat transfer and effectiveness for shell and tube heat exchanger, while also studying the effect of the Reynolds number and type of fluid on heat transfer coefficient and effectiveness.

In Xin Liu, Teng Zhang, Hongyu Guo, Keyun Peng, Hongwei Zhang, Bo Tan, and Runjie Lei’s ‘Measuring the Unsaturated Permeability Coefficient of Rock and Soil Masses with Self-developed Devices,’ to further study the unsaturated permeability coefficient of rock and soil masses, a model device for field testing the unsaturated permeability coefficient of rock and soil masses was developed, and a mathematical expression for field testing the unsaturated permeability coefficient was derived.

Atadjanov Hajiboy’s study titled ‘Organization of Independent Work of Students Using Information Technology in the Form of Blended Learning’ elucidates how informational technologies and pedagogical security of the connection of ICT and education for carrying out independent work and independent education of students of higher educational establishments in conditions of electronic and distance learning have the more adaptive method in the era of communication.

Lastly, Pravin Rajesh Nawate and Shivani Janardhan Kshirsagar’s ‘IOT Base Temperature Data Logger using Think Speak Cloud and Auto Excel Report Generation’ proposed an idea about the advanced result for covering the temperature conditions at a particular place or a lab and make the information visible anywhere in the world with the technology called the Internet of Things.
